THE STUDY OF THE DEPLOYMENT OF OTEC LARGE DIAMETER COLD WATER PIPES IN TAIWAN

The criteria of the deployment of OTEC large diameter cold water pipe is studied and established.  For the future evaluation of the deployment technology of the large diameter cold water pipe in Taiwan, three deployment regions are suggested.  Various under water construction technologies supporting vessels and working machine are introduced and evaluated.  For the future related technology transfer of the under water deployment of large diameter pipeline is concluded.
